We’ve done several Thanksgiving segments, and we’ve got tips to help you succeed on this wonderful day.
Here’s our segment to see how we do it.
Thanksgiving is about gathering, gratitude, and great food.
But if you’re a Jetsetter, you also want efficiency, style and maybe a cocktail in hand.
Here are five ways to make your holiday shine — plus the products we love to make it stress-free.
With these Jetsetter picks, your Thanksgiving can be stress-free, stylish and delicious.
Turkey Without Stress
Skip the hassle of babysitting the oven all day.
An Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo gives you crispy, juicy turkey without the fuss — and it’s faster and more energy-efficient. The Pro-Cook system is effortless and it fits up to a 12-pound turkey.
Jetsetter Tip: Use it for sides like roasted veggies and potatoes too.
Why We Love It: This Ninja Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo a lifesaver for smaller gatherings or Friendsgiving celebrations.
Baste Like a Pro
Nobody likes dry turkey. We have the secret! Turkey breasts tend to dry out — especially during long roasts. Injecting melted butter directly into the meat locks in moisture and infuses flavor from the inside out. Get a good meat injector.
We suggest this Zulay Kitchen Stainless Steel Turkey Baster all-in-one on Amazon.
Jetsetter Tip: Inject melted butter into breasts (about 4-5 oz per side). There is a distinct difference in the moisture and the taste of the white meat when you do this.
Why We Love It: The Zulay Kitchen Stainless Steel Turkey Baster bastes and injects all in one and will become your go to year after year.
The Coca Cola Baste
Along with injecting the turkey breats with butter, we baste our turkey in Pick up your Coca-Cola. Yes, Coca Cola. Use regular Coke – not Diet. Use about 20 ounces for a 15 LB bird. The size of your cooking pan will be another factor. We pour the Coke over the top of the bird, then fill the bottom of the pan so the bird is sitting in it.
Jetsetter Tip: Baste every 30 minutes for a lacquered finish that’s pure holiday magic.
Why We Love It: Pick up your Coca-Cola 6-pack (for basting and sipping) to bring that molasses flavor to your bird.
Boost the Taste
We add Herbs de Provence for a wonderful combo of herbs you won’t find anywhere else. You could try garlic, rosemary or Cajun seasoning to the butter for a custom kick.
Jetsetter Tip: Sprinkle Herbs de Provence on top of the butter on the turkey. Let it rest for 30 minutes before popping it in the oven.
Why We Love It: The blend of Aromatic Savory, Thyme, Rosemary, Basil Tarragon & Lavender adds a touch of Southern France to your meal.
Don’t Forget the Thermometer
You can’t start the feasting without temping your turkey. Have a Digital Meat Thermometer on hand to temp the turkey when it’s time. Internal temp should hit 165°F in the breast, 175°F in the thigh.
Jetsetter Tip: Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes after you take it out of the oven and the temp is correct.
Why We Love It: This Digital Meat Thermometer is compact and has the temps right on it. It’s great for grilling too!
