We have the best burgers for a summertime change – or any time, really.

The Teriyaki Bleu Cheese Burgers will be another go-to recipe when you can’t exactly pinpoint what you want or you get unexpected guests.

We have friends who ask for this all the time.

4 Big Bite Size Reasons

Why is that?

  • The taste is so different compared to the traditional hamburgers we all make.
  • It pairs perfectly with different salads and veggies – especially in summer.
  • It also pairs beautifully with beers and ales, cocktails like a Mule, and red or white wine. (We suggest a pinot noir and a chardonnay.)
  • It’s quick and easy to go from fridge to table, as you will see.

As you know, we experiment with different spices and sauces on many other dishes here on Undercover Jetsetter.

When we thought of this pairing, we knew how great it would taste even before we tested it.

Yoshida Makes It Easy

The teriyaki comes from the Yoshida Original Gourmet Sweet and Savory.  If you can’t get it at the grocery store, then try online.  The big bottle is worth it. (We use it as an alternative dip for chicken wings.)

Get some good beef, add the spices, pour in some Yoshida, crumble up as much bleu cheese as you like, then mix it up.

Grilling Options

Here, we grilled them outside.  If you don’t have an outside grill, then try the air fryer, as we have dozens of times.

The taste is rich, satisfying, and comforting.

Combination Is Unforgettable

The Yoshida gives you savory, sweet, salty, with a little umami flavor.

It combines brilliantly with the bleu cheese that is salty, bitter, sharp, tangy, and creamy.

Don’t be afraid to make a big batch, because they will be perfect for next day left-overs.

Now feast your eyes on this.
