It was a soap opera that had been percolating for several months, in fact speculation started as an undercurrent when Longtime Busch and JGR partner M&M Mars announced last season that this would be their final season in NASCAR.
That sponsor announcement started a journey that ended Tuesday with the 2 time Cup Champion’s announcement that he was joining Richard Childress Racing in 2023.
But there remains several issues yet to be resolved.
