TAKING AIM AT INDY – “BUTTERBEAN” DOMINANCE – PRAY FOR MY COUNTRY

This week’s guests are about as diverse as possible. Josef Newgarden has snared the last 2 IndyCar events first with an electrifying last lap last corner win over his Penske teammate Scott McLaughlin at Texas and then backed it up by capturing the Acura GP of Long Beach.

He and Jack talk about his back – to -back wins and Team Penske’s off season improvements.

Josef also shares a moment that happened the day before the race that left him hungrier than ever.

The Advance Auto Parts Victory Lap features  “twenty something” driver Brenden “Butterball” Queen. Brenden kicked off the 2022 Weekly season and Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway Easter weekend with a come from behind win the season opening 100 lap special for the track’s Late Models

If you recall, Brenden visited last season and this time around, He  talks about where he feels his “racecraft” has improved.

Yevgen Sokolovoskiy was born in Odessa Ukraine. His passion for racing was nurtured on Motorcycles but 2 years ago he transitioned to 4 wheels when he joined the NASACR Euro Series when he became part of the Marko Stipp racing team.

Life for Yevgen since Ukraine was invaded has been one where he keeps trying to balance his  passion for racing with his loyalties to his home in the Ukraine. It is an enlightening conversation that  casts  a different light upon world events.
